Here's an easy way to save your injection when this happens.
1. You discover that you forgot to remove the red cap thingie but you've already pressed the release button on the Autoject. 2. Wait. Do not immediately remove the red cap thingie. Keep it in place. 3. First unscrew the Autoject and reset the spring mechanism. 4. Assemble Autoject, then remove red cap thingie. 5. Inject as usual.
Lisa--THANK YOU!!!! This is fantastic advice, and now hopefully I won't helplessly watch very expensive liquid squirt out of the AutoJect. Thanks again!!!
THANK YOU to the amazing people who supported Team Dwennimmen in the MS 60 Mile Bike Ride! With your help, I raised more than $700 to support MS Research.
My name is Krista. On April 14, 2009, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. On my way home from the appointment at which I was diagnosed, I stopped and got my first tattoo--a Dwennimmen. This is my forum to toss out thoughts and information about these and other elements of my life as a 34 year old, active, tattooed, diagnosed dame.
